What it does
The diary
Write the trip while it happens. Each moment keeps the photo you actually took, the time it was taken and the place it was taken in — read from the photo itself, before anything else happens to it.
The map
Every moment, every stage and every place you save lands on the same world map. Zoom out and you see a life of travelling; zoom in and you are back on the street where you took the photo.
Sharing
One link opens the whole trip in a browser: photos, days and story. No account, no app, no sign-up. They can leave a comment and react with an emoji, and you can switch the link off whenever you want.
Money
Add what the trip costs as you go and Lumba does the arithmetic: the total, each person's share and the shortest list of payments that settles everything. No spreadsheet, no arguments at the airport.
Places
Restaurants, viewpoints, hikes, museums, shops. Save them with a category and a note, mark them visited when you get there, and see them all on the map next time you are in the neighbourhood.
Writing
At the end of the trip you have thirty photos and eight notes. Lumba turns them into a story you can read out loud — in your language, from your own words, and yours to edit or throw away.
On the ground
The forecast for the place you are actually standing in, five days ahead. And if there is a theme park nearby, the live waiting time for each ride — the difference between forty minutes of queue and a good afternoon.

The promise
A travel app that ruins your photos is a photo album that ruins your holiday. Lumba is built the other way round.
The file you took is stored whole, at full quality. Small versions exist only to make the app fast; they never replace anything.
Nothing is public until you create a link or make your profile public. There is no feed of strangers looking at your family.
A shared link can be switched off, and what has already been handed out stops working minutes later, not hours.

How it works
A name, a destination, the dates and a cover photo. Add stages if you are moving around: Lisbon, Sintra, Lagos.
A photo and a couple of lines, on the day it happens or on the plane home. Lumba puts each one in its place and on its date.

Questions
Yes. Creating trips, writing the diary, uploading photos at original quality, the map, group expenses and shared links are all free.
No. Lumba runs in the browser on any phone or computer. On iPhone and Android you can add it to your home screen and it opens full screen, with its own icon, exactly like an app.
Nothing. The original file is stored complete, at full quality, and it is never recompressed. The date and location are read from the photo before anything else, so a photo taken in the mountains stays a photo taken in the mountains.
Yes. Every trip can produce a link that opens a public page with the photos, the days and the story. Whoever opens it can comment and react with emoji using just their name. You can revoke the link whenever you want.
You add the people on the trip and each expense with who paid it and who it is split between. Lumba works out the total, each share and the shortest list of payments that settles the group. Expenses paid with a company card can be marked for reimbursement so they stay out of the split.
Yes, moment by moment. If you hide the exact location, the coordinates never leave the server for anyone but you — not for a shared link, not for anyone following you.
